Susan Griffith-Jones was invited to both give a Talk and conduct a Workshop at the Global Pyramid Conference inside The Gold Pyramid located in Gurnee, Illinois, USA for which she chose to describe her ever-evolving, 120ft installation, called ‘The Magician’s Jewel’.
A Talk on how ‘The Magician’s Jewel’ came about
In her Talk of 90 minutes, Susan presented the audience with a comprehensive background of how she came to build such an installation.
Following on from her Talk, Susan then took the audience on a Virtual Walk Through of ‘The Magician’s Jewel’ in her Workshop, highlighting the meaning of its key parts, describing some of its mechanisms as a device, as well as presenting the geometry of its design as well as its role as an instrument to elucidate the meaning of the Tibetan Book of the Dead.
