On 30th November 2024, Susan Griffith-Jones was invited to give a talk on her large, exclusive, multi-dimensional installation, ‘The Magician’s Jewel’ that has been designed to embody Universal Truth in symbol.
Holding the quintessential, heart essence meaning of the innermost school of the yogic teachings within its design, this incredibly high, 100ft structure creates a sense of awe at first sight, but allows participants to comfortably move around on and within its inner passageways and chambers that have been built to resonate its subtle meaning to the beholder. Full chromatic octaves of harmonic resonance create the pathways between chambers that are resonating the sound of AUM, deep diving into lucid dreaming and displaying splendid interactive sound and light displays bring life to the subtle realms of existence.
With its unique design potential spanning dimensional spaces, its magical threefold combination of carefully designed form (shape), sound (vibration) and charge (light), the whole structure of The Magician’s Jewel’ is an embodiment of Pi employing Golden ratio Fibonacci spirals, toroidal fields and vortex physics to fulfil its role as a working device that is ‘designed to clean up the subtle energy of the space in its environs, revitalizing both the land and people in its environs.
This huge installation is also a purposefully tailored, symbolic exposure of the process of existence as described in the ‘Bardol Thodol’ (The Tibetan Book of the Dead) and its innermost route finds participants donning Augmented and Virtual Reality glasses, then following a pathway through varying chambers and open spaces of the installation, working through key visualisation processes that are carefully designed to enhance the experience of the Bardos as described in The Tibetan Book of the Dead, while passing through labyrinths and crossing hurdles, to finally reach a multi-dimensional space at its very centre.
